We recognize that attachment to physical belongings is often linked to mindset, lifestyle, and trauma. We provide trauma-informed coaching as part of our services.

This helps clients understand and heal the root causes of clutter, and empowers them to make lasting changes around attachment patterns.


This change takes practice, time, but we work with people - sans judgement - for the most sustainable change. 

Our process

Step 1:  Zoom Call & Prep
In your free Zoom Consult, we'll get a glimpse of your space and help you prep for our arrival. 
Part of your prompt will be to have 2-3 main focuses/attainable goals for our 1st day together.

Step 2: Arrive & Assess Your Space
You'll give us a tour, and we'll note the priority areas. 
We'll mark large items we know we're getting rid of, so we don't have to assess that later (if relevant).
We'll then make a clear plan, together, and get started. 


Step 3: Categorize and Sort
You'll have, or we'll supply boxes, folders, or appropriate sorting spaces.
We'll sort items into 4 piles:
-KEEP
-DONATE
-SELL
-TRASH/RECYCLE


Optional Step 4: Create Decluttering Zones
Depending on the size of the job, we may split the space into specific zones in your space for different activities or items.
This could include a designated workspace, relaxation zone (for you), and storage zones.
Each area will serve a specific purpose to maintain organization.


Step 5: Simplify Your Storage
If you're seeking better storage, we'll evaluate your storage solutions & simplify where possible.
We'll utilize storage bins, shelves, and organizers to create a streamlined system for keeping items in their designated places.  Additionally, we'll talk through your new process, to ensure it's aligned with your goals, vision, and abilities.


Step 6: Develop Sustainable Habits
As we're decluttering & once we're done, when relevant, we'll discuss intention and process going forward.
Regular decluttering sessions'll be encouraged with us, or friends/colleagues, or on your own.


Step 7: Celebrate Your Success
Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements along the way. Whether it's completing a decluttering session or achieving a specific goal, recognizing progress can motivate all involved to continue successfully on the decluttering journey.


Extra Notes: 
Because there are 2 of us, we'll communicate to make sure our individual & collective strengths are put to the best use. 
For instance, one of us may be moving items, while the other is working with you on letting go emotionally. 
Or, one may be sorting papers while the other is posting items on your online account for sale.
